The small town of Sabae city in the Fukui province of Japan in 1907,the history of Japanese eyewear had started in Kawada.
Now, 100 years later eyewear from Kawada is still handmade one by one by the finest craftsmen have been keeping alive the traditional know-how.
[MEIJINSYU] is created in collaboration with the skilled workers in the eyewear industry of Fukui and also it is collection for the craftsmen of Kawada Eyewear.
The optical frames of this MEIJINSYU for KAWADA EYEWEAR are engraved the names of craftsmen devoted their lives to eyewear.
In these names, their passion and philosophy of eyewear and pride of history and tradition of Japanese eyewear are included.
